Padres’ Challenge
For the past several years, the San Diego Padres have challenged San Diego to support Family Health Centers of San Diego. Known as the Padres’ Challenge, this annual challenge has raised over $2.3 million to help us expand our facilities and serve more families in need of healthcare.
The 2009 Padres’ Challenge raised over $200,0000 to support the expansion and relocation of our City Heights Family Health Center. Since opening five years ago, patient visits have increased by 465% and the health center is now at capacity.
